Public Participation Plan
The VLMPO Public Participation Plan is an outline of the decision-making roles and responsibilities of the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to the public. The Participation Plan addresses the importance of public input and engagement in the transportation planning process and also provides information on relevant laws surrounding transportation planning. The MPO strives to ensure that everyone with a stake in transportation decisions are identified and given the opportunity to be involved in the development of policies, programs, and projects that are being proposed in their communities.
