Area Agency on Aging Division Southern Georgia Regional Commission is accepting applications for the position of program manager in the aging department. Duties include writing and monitoring contracts, invoice review, and coordinating meetings. Must possess two years post-HS education and two years w/e. Additional w/e may substitute for post-HS education. Four-year degree preferred. Aging and Disability Resource Assistant
Southern Georgia Regional Commission is accepting applications for the position of Aging and Disability Resource Assistant. Position entails performing support staff tasks for a call center team of approx. 12 nurses and social workers. Duties include maintaining an inventory of supplies and assistive technology items, handling mail-outs, assisting with outreach and marketing, and maintaining a record of staff training. Must be able to cultivate and maintain good working relationships with medical and social service professionals. Good grammar, spelling, and composition skills required. Must be skilled in the use of computers, word processing, and database software. Medical or marketing related experience is a plus. Must possess at least one year of post-HS education and two years of work experience. Additional related w/e may substitute for post-HS education. Valid driver’s license, MVR, background check, and drug test required. Beginning salary range mid-20s to mid-30s. Excellent benefits, including health insurance. Position is in Waycross.
