The following jurisdictions are currently in various stages of updating their comprehensive plans. Plan updates are required by the State of Georgia every five years. Meeting dates and draft documents will be updated on this page throughout the comprehensive plan update process. Typically, comprehensive plan updates take several months to a year to complete the entire submission and review process. Regional Commission Planning staff welcome any questions about the process and encourage participation by community members.
